The Wizard Community has been trying to hunt down those Goldspamancers for years, sorry we missed one.

... does this really happen nowadays? Because that would be the best damn thing ever. XD

That said, this comic was brilliantly executed! I mean, it got me to come out of the woodwork just to post about it, so that should tell you something.
I'm not that hard to find... if you know where to look.

Gigz ended up as a part of a common type of customers. That type of customers feel bad about not buying what an overpolite seller offers them, and in the end they buy it even if they don't really need it. So Gigz bought some gold in the end, and now we know cooking really is the way to her soft inner self :D

P.s. I remember encountering such polite goldsellers some years ago, I wonder if they actually made more deals than the ordinary spammers, marketing ftw xD

First, I found it amusing to see Gigz just saying 'No shit?' For some reason it makes me laugh.

Second, I've a weakness to politeness, but the instant someone tries to sell me gold my personality swaps with a brick wall.

Hey! Gigz gets to shove a gold-merchant! I've always wanted to be able to shove them in the face! BTW, she needs to work on her shoving - he only winced. Get Miji in there!

if you read this comic backwards,

it's about gigz going to the shops to buy a cauldron, then getting angry about the shopkeeper's ugly friend. gigz finally forgives the shopkeeper, but then the shopkeeper insults gigz' cooking.
