Do you actually get a buff for wiping in LFR now? I haven't played since shortly after LFR was implemented in Cataclysm, and it was so easy it was basically a joke. Is the LFR harder now or are people just getting even worse at this game as time goes on?

You get a buff provided the group is in combat with the boss for a certain amount of time. No insta-wiping to stack the buff. It resets after every boss defeat, and doesn't appear for trash.

LFR in MoP, while not impossible, is a fair bit more difficult than in Cataclysm. In Cataclysm, yeah, it was relatively rare I was in a group that died to any boss that wasn't Deathwing, and that was either due to a lack of DPS or some douche deciding it'd be eternally hilarious to pull DW every time everyone sat down to get ready for the boss fight.

In MoP the trash itself can be fairly deadly, and unless everyone in the raid actually knows exactly what the fight is like, the bosses can take several attempts to defeat. The buff works for that purpose. (Some bosses are kinda cheap, too, Dumuru's maze is difficult to get the hang of the first few times and it usually wipes half a raid almost instantly, leaving the rest to finish the fight off).

i like how the cat on donald's shirt gets angrier in the last two panels before the shirt is shredded. the only raid ive ever been in was black temple. i think most of us were lvl 85, with a few 80s. we got to some double wooden doors above some stairs on each side that lead up to the doors. i have no idea where it is on the map, since it was my first and only time on a raid. someone had to eat dinner, i think, so we waited for like 20 or 30 minutes for the guy to come back. he never did and more people left. then everyone did.

what does LFR stand for? i think donald has been on more raids than i have. was there a real donald on WoW? or did he just stand for any and all noob players who stood in the fire?

ahem...mathematically, 10 x 5 = 50, therefore 10 stacks should give you a 50% increase in power, which does not constitute a muscle mass of 5 times your original strength.

Ah but you forget what happens to Donald when you tell him a raid boss killed Santa Claus (in which case he 1-manned a Cataclysm raid boss at lvl 85) - not to mention that he is a priest class playing as warrior - his base strength and stamina has to be ridiculously high. Put all that together, Donald is as strong (or stronger) than a raid boss (when angry enough) and the fact that the higher his muscle mass went up from the buff, the lower his intelligence became, making him angrier and angrier = rampaging Hulk Donald.
