Yea, although that dragon is controlled by some sort of demon.

Also, no raid is complete without a dragon. :P

two actually. First boss is Kalecgos (you met him in Magister's Terrace in his human form as Kalec). He is fighting the demon Sathrovarr for control of his mind, so you end up fighting Kalecgos (his dragon form) at the same time as you aid Kalec (human form) against Sathrovarr. Kalec/Sathrovarr are in a spectral realm. It's pretty freakin weird.

Again, if you did Magister's Terrace when you talk to Kalec you find out he came to the Sunwell Plateau with Madrigosa - another member of the blue dragonflight. He says they got split up and he does not currently know where she is. When you get to Brutallus (remember the big pit lord while doing the IoQD bombing quest?) you see her fighting him. She loses. After you beat Brutallus you fight Madrigosa as an undead dragon now known as Felmyst.

God, the story for each boss in SWP is so much more interesting than BT :/

Anyway, my guild's right around where DL is/was - full BT/Hyjal clear but didn't get much (well, any) time in Sunwell before the patch. Spent a couple days in there, dealing with the lag, and downed Kalecgos and Brutallus pretty quick. Post patch at least, Brutallus is even easier once you get the positioning down and make sure burn victims don't get trigger happy with their movement keys.

Sunwell really is a joke now. It takes about 90 minutes to clear and we barely have to pay attention. It's kind of too bad (it was more fun when it was harder), but it's also nice in that we can just steamroll the place and get the few remaining upgrades for people's leveling sets.

All raids in the game are a joke right now. :(

But at least they're some easy practise for the raids in Northrend.

Unless you didn't get Thori'dal already :p

Every raid boss that you already knew - even if you hadn't actually downed it yet - is a joke. Not doing any SWP means we still have to learn the fights, but god - having little idea what we are doing + sloppy mistakes and having hardly any consequence for them because damage is so high...

If we do it a bit more tightly this week, we should be able to down Illidan without actually seeing phase 4 o.O

Sounds like when I'm trying to get a Hallowed Helm or Sinister Squashling.
