Narya is an indian name for usage on any new born kid of the male gender.

Narya is also the name chosen by J.R.R for his/her (no i seriously don't know) book which includes shit loads of rings with one of them being worn by a hippie with long grey beards.

and in this case hopefully narya chose narya from the first option or else he would be rated as the top geek.

I think it's from the indian name, considering his shammy is named Bayta (if I remember correctly), which sounds indian too.
