also, in the mercy of the sea machimenia short, her night elf baby has same model.

just because its the same model doesnt mean that its the real thing. if blizz declare it to be a nightelf baby then it is, if they dont, its not.

Fandral Staghelm was born about a thousand years after the Great Sundering (making him over 9,000 years old).LoM 22

15 gold per lore loser willing to transfer to do a server only quest plus all 50s. that adds up.

True, but if you can charge 1200 gold per lore loser, you are gonna max your gold amount! :D

hmm odd which are there more of lore losers (willing to pay 20 dollars for a quest then another 1200) or 50s?

i still think lore losers will be more b/c of gold even if they can't transfer from RP servers to my PvE one, i bet it still add to more.

By the way, who says that Night Elves are pregnant for 9 months?

So you mean they wouldn't have any sexual relations for billion of years?

It'd be pretty sad.

Billion years? Isn't it only around ... lemme c ... 1, 3, 48, purple ... 25000 years? Or am I completely wrong?

Btw, if they r immortal, do they grow? Or are you stuck in ya momma's stomach 4 ten thousand years??????? Doesn't sound rly fun :P

Mabye that is why Illidan Stormrage says "Imprisoned for ten thousand years..." in TBC cinematic intro...

no.
illidan was imprisioned for betraying the night elves during the war of the ancients. he joined the burning legion, had his eys torn out and replaced by magical ones, got corrupted by fel energy, so the NEs thought him to be dangerous so they imprisoned him.

Almost all sources claim that Night Elves first evolved around 10,000 years ago near the Well of Eternity. Coincidentally, it was also around the same time when the Burning Legion first invaded Azeroth and Illidan was was imprisoned.

Something to keep in mind is, when these sources say "10,000 years ago", I'm sure they don't literally mean exactly 10,000 years. It could very well be anywhere from 12,000 to 8,000 years. Point is the following:

  • 10,000 years is a long time and events and dates could be distorted and inaccurate.
  • Even if the dates are off by a few hundred years, that is still more than enough time to allow numerous events to take place. If you think about it, the timeframe from Warcraft I to World of Warcraft is only 27 years and look at how much has happened in that time period.

Night Elves have a long lifespan (1000 yrs) Thus, they probably also mature much more slowly, and because the 3rd war just ended, Nelf didn't have the time to get preggers and have kids mature enough to walk around safely(the children would probably be kept hidden, to avoid infanticide)

Although, Half-Night Elves would have had time.
