tips to avoid playing the dreaded "huntard"

Discuss anything relating to World of Warcraft

Judgement... I declare you a hunter weap claimer.

ALWAYS try to use range, even at minimum range if there are many aggresive mobs.

Erm, sorry about the pet part, I was mostly focusing on quick runs, where you need to hug the wall? And plus I was really sleepy, give me a break.

And the reason you shouldn't roll on leather is because you have mail, and 3/4 of all the groups in WoW, they have atleast 1 rogue. Leather should only go the people that can only use that as their highest armor. Unless the item is like, ubergod like and the other person stole your item...

Hack the game and roll 100.

So, ignore the pet part, partially ignore the leather past level 40, and be good.

Well, as long as your under lvl 10, it's semi kinda expected

I grabbed a 22 Hunter for Blackfathom since there is a great bow and a really good 1h sword they can use in there.... then I inspected him

He was in some really low lvl Green quest rewards and Whites. I recommended that he go look in the AH and I bet he could find some really good greens for his level..... /facepalm... he asked me what an AH was... he had been buying all of his armor & weapons from vendors... At least he had figured out the whole "Talent Points" thing...

we had a long discussion thru BFD.... luckily I managed to get him the bow and after the last boss, we got teleported back to Darnassus. I went to the AH and bought him everything I could for his level, gave him 2 16slot bags, 10g and wished him luck....

Sometimes they just need a lil positive advice to get them headed in the right direction.

You know, rolling on leather is fine for a hunter.

The only bad side is it has no intellect, and probably very little ranged hit.

I've seen like 2 rogues and no feral cats since WotLK came out, due to DK's. Nobody else really uses it, unless feral barefroms do (not sure about that :/).

I saw a hunter with a blue tank axe, enchanted with unholy, and a green "of spirit" enchanted with fiery.

It made me sad.

Another reason why I say people under 14 shouldn't play this game.

And why is it thought that people under 14 can't understand simple things like not putting on tank gear as ret, or not breaking the sap.

I#m sure I would've understodd this easily at that age.

Avoid whatever the starter of this thread said and you should do fine. And act like you have a somewhat understanding of your class.

I'm pretty sure I would have understood easily too, but since apparently kids these days are fed only paint chips and antifreeze, it looks like they're completely unable to do so.
