Naxx? Is it still worth it?

Discuss anything relating to World of Warcraft

I've done once BC-Naxx with my blood elf paladin, it were quite fun.
Most of guys were in Merciless, t4-t5 and we had 40 guys but it were still hard on some bosses, we didn't even do 4 horse men , neither Kel'thuzad or Sapphiron. And most of guys were experienced from Naxx pre-BC.

You can do BC-Naxx for the fun, i'd say:). Some encounters are really well made, and i bet some pally/warrior (or nasty hunter) would like to have the Corrupted Ashbringer, it's fun to walk in old school epics.

That music is truly terrible for that video. I'd understand if it were a PVP video, but they're just walking.

Most of paladins use mail, example Belt of Galeforce (or whatsoever, from KZ:s 2nd boss), or hunter/shaman loot on retribution, since plate dps drops are few.

We went back and did Naxx about a month or so ago and it was alot of fun. One of these days I'll finish making the movies I was planning on making out of the FRAPS and post it.

About old end game instances.
Some items is actually worth getting, for an example I got:

The Black Book. Very nice for a demonology lock! Trinket
Eye of Moam. The spell dmg +50 , and it lowers the targets magical resistance by 100.
As it seems, mostly trinkets is the most valuable having.

Rumors I have heard is that Blizz will work on Nax and make a lvl 80 instance of it. This is just something I picked reading somewhere.
It's nothing I have read directly from Blizzards sites.

It's confirmed, Blizz is gonna make 25-man Naxx to Northrend as "casual raid".

I am a paladin too, I do use a mail piece I'll admit. Only because blizzard's plate belt itemization is retarded.

Reviving this thread...

EJ did Naxx back in August and I took a bunch of fraps of it, but I never really finished the videos until this past week when I noticed them.

So... voila:

Since krom revived it, I think I might add that....

Blizzard realizes that hardly anyone got to see naxx, so with the bringing of the Wrath of the Lich King, they are planning on making it a level 80 instance, either a 10 or 20man, I forgot. [/quote]

They have said it will be the intro 25 man raid zone... basically it'll be the MC of Wrath.

I think its a good move since TBC didn't really have an 'MC' and it really hurt the raid community not to have a big zone to clear out first.

My guild rerolled on a very new server, AQ isn't even open. We are planning on hitting up the old instances pre 70. I can't wait. I didn't get to see as much of Naxx as I would have liked.

Yes, I'm new. /wave
