Where would YOU live?

Postby FDQ » Mon Dec 15, 2008 1:49 am

Okay, lets say something totally wacky happened and the world collapsed into itself and and we all got sucked into a black hole and woke up on Azeroth. (I know, I need a life)

Where would you settle down and start living? And please do tell why you picked that place :D

I would have said Dun Murogh, but then I remembered that there's no freaking doors in their buildings! And I can't take cold >_<

Then I thought of Elwynn Forest 'cause it looks the most like the place I live. Then I remembered those gross giant spiders >_< so NO thanks!

Everson Woods maybe? Except for the little part full of dead people!

So my final choice would be:
Mulgore
It looks like a beautiful place. Not too warm and not cold. Pretty green grass and blue skies and no weird monsters XD I think I could like tha place ^_^ and the Taurens are such peaceful creatures

Well, there are several possibilities for me.

1. Winterspring.

Pros:
It reminds me of where I want to live when i'm older (Canada. ON if you watn specifics.)
Snow. I like snow, and I rarely get it where I live.
Polar Bears. Cute.

Cons:
Snow. It can be kinda dangerous.
Polar Bears. Can be dangerous.
Chimaeras. Fugly.

2. Howling Fjord.

Pros:
From what I've seen in screenshots, it looks smexy.
It's not too warm and tropical, but it isn't too cold either.

Cons:
Psycho Vikings. 'Nuff said.

3. Stranglethorn Vale

Pros:
Smexy jungle.
Cute Panthers.
Booty bay is imo the nicest town in the game. The lack of mounting there however, fails.

Cons:
Trolls. I'm not a big fan of them.
Venture Co. They can go stick their green heads in the sludge fen for all the times they've killed me.
Dangerous wildlife.

4. Nagrand

Pros:
Smexy green grass.
Smexy crystal.
Telaar is a great looking place. As is Halaa.
Trampoline. I can just beat up that damned goblin and steal the key.

Cons:
Orcs. Too many of them.
Dangerous wildlife.
Hemet Nesingwary of Nagrand. He's fine in STV, and I dunno about Sholazar, but he's horrific in Nagrand.

5. Sholazar Basin

Pros:
Basically the same as Nagrand and STV combined.
An Icey patch to go cool off in in the height of summer.

Cons:
Basically the same as Nagrand and STV combined.
Icey patch has zombies in it.
Murlocs. I hate them.

My final decision is... Winterspring. I have to discount Howling Fjord and Sholazar however, as I haven't been there, or seen them, for myself. No WotLK

Anyone who says TL;DR gets a slap from Chat.

What a poser....

I think I'd live in silvermoon city, and hang about with my three best girlfriends talking about sex and shoes and stuff.

Or Ive heard about some new real estate thats coming onto the market soon. Its a bit of a fixer upper but I'm not afraid to get my paint brush out.
"Located in the scenic shadowmoon valley this astonishing property is coming onto the market due to the current owner going to live with the rest of the out of date raid bosses. Spacious and full of antique glamour this property has an indoor swimming pool ( large crustacean will need removing), about 40-50 bedrooms and large terrace from which you can enjoy the glow of falling infernals whilst sipping a chilled chardonnay."

All I need is some paisly wallpaper and some palm trees and I'm set. I think I will rename it Dunownin'
