That was one of the better tributes to George that I've seen, I think he would have laughed.

Nicely said - anybody not familiar with George Carlin should do whatever it takes to get a hold of his stand-up material and then feel like )(*@# when they realize they called him a sports announcer.

Right now, the only four people I am accepting as great stand-up comedians are Dave Chapelle, George Lopez, Carlos Mencia and of course Rodney Dangerfield.

I've never heard Carlin's material, so I don't have an opinion on his work.

What little respect i once had for you has fallen.... you rank carlos mencia as one of the best? all of his jokes are the SAME every punch-line can be seen about a mile and 3/4ths away! COME ON and where is Mitch Hedberg on your list? (he died a little while ago too :( )
1 full year playing wow: about $190
snowboard: $200

Thinking about casting greater heal of yourself when you break an arm: Priceless

i highly dislike mencia, i think ive only laughed once at his jokes and that was when i first saw comedy central presents.

George Carlin was great

imo the greatest standup comedians are Lewis Black, Chris Rock, and Richard Pryor.

i havent heard alot of Carlin's work but from what i heard ive liked

I haven't heard Carlos Mencia in awhile. Is he still doing the same jokes that Eddie Murphy did 20 years ago?
