is it true that after a certain period of lack of sleep your brain starts to see things in a... different way, warped/distorted walls and floor etc...?

When you see Spartans shit bricks you'll move on with your life because these jokes are utterly overused.

Pulled 2 all nighters last week (brief moments of sleep while being a passenger, though).

Drove from Vancouver to LA in a single drive (and return trip).

Woke up at 7:00 am to catch a plane to Vancouver, drove the rest of that day, the next night, the next day again and eventually arrived in LA around 11:00. Went to sleep around 1:00.

Grand Total: 43 hours awake.

On the return, I woke up in Anaheim at 9:00am, had lunch and started driving, drove all night and the next day, arrived in Vancouver around 2:30pm. Went to sleep around 8:00 pm.

Grand Total: 35 hours awake.

Let's just say that driving that much and sleeping that little in a 7 day period totally wrecks you for a while afterwards. I am still tired.

If it would've included playing lots of WoW and drinking lots of coffee, I'm sure I could've stayed awake for that time as well.

...
Only to be sick the next week.

As we arrived in LA I had a sudden realization of just how much Red Bull I had had to drink and was slightly worried my heart was going to explode. Thankfully, it did not!

The only way Red Bull can make your heart explode if one can of it gets short right through it with a speed of 500 km/h.

It will also hurt and give you an Achievement.
