KAY MY QUESTION HATH BEEN ANSWERED :3

Postby Alcest » Wed Oct 07, 2009 10:12 am

Ok, I've been looking at all of your cool and awesome avatars, some of which are VERY LARGE *IE: Kozom*, but when I tried to enter mine, it has 2 errors:

1. It must be < 6 KB

2. It must be 80x80 pixels max.

Ok well I found an avatar 80x80, and I thought "it'll just increase and scale larger right?" well look at my avatar now. it's tiny and barely even legible =/

So my question is this: How do you guys get larger avatars???

Edit: Thanks all for the answers... Since Idk how to close my thread, i'll just edit shtuff :3

To answer your first question, there IS a Q&A forum :P

As for your second, you need to host it somewhere else (like imageshack) and use an URL, the conditions are if you want to host it here.

There ya go!

(PS:If you could delete the space in your sig, its annoying :P.)

It should be in .jpg or .gif format, which will greatly decrease its size.

DOH! Q/A duh im dumb >.<

Um... I didn't want a SIG picture; I wanted my profile picture to be bigger, like your giant kitty...

And judgement, yours is not only LARGER than mine, but it sure as hell takes up more than 6 KB since it's an animation... so... yeah...

But I just TOLD you! Oo

Ok I retry.Instead of uploading the picture, host it somewhere (I take http://www.imageshack.us),and link it here(use the very bottom space of the profile page), and you have no restriction.Be sure to take a stable website as the image won't display if it goes down.
See, if you look at the properties of my avatar (or the other big ones) the url displayed is the one of the hosting website. If you take yours, it's this website, thats why you have restriction ^^.

And I wasn't talking about hosting in your sig, I just want you to delete your annoying spaces between the lines! :P

Hey, there's a new rule here I think everyone can agree on.

Smileys are fucking annoying and should never ever be used again, agreed?

They can be annoying when used improperly, however it is sometimes hard to express emotions in words (or we are just to lazy to do it). If you hate them so much, just don't use them.
