Only certain canadians are dumb (Zealia!) and only certain are smelly (Eilis!)... and really, only a few are both (Azgool & Talus!)... I however am NEITHER.

Shampoo residue dulls the hair. In order for your hair to look shiny and healthy after shampooing you need to make sure you remove all the shampoo. Some people like to increase the effectiveness of the rinse by adding a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon oil to a glass of water as they feel that helps remove any remaining residue. One key to a good rinse is to not apply too much shampoo to begin with. Even with a full head of thick hair a small nickel sized dab should be enough.

There are ingredients that help make your hair shine and add body. To be effective these ingredients should appear in the upper portion of the ingredients label: Almond oil, jojoba, avacado oil, shea butter, olive oil, tea tree oil, peppermint oil, carrot extract, lavender, kelp, wheat proteins.

Start with the right amount of shampoo, usually a nickel sized drop is enough, avoid using too much as it is harder to rinse out and causes excessive removal of your hairs oils.

Rub your hands together to mix the shampoo with a little water and then rub into your hair with your fingers. Do not use your fingernails as this scratches your scalp and can damage the roots of your hair. Slowly work the shampoo into the hair moving towards the ends. Try and not clump your hair.

Rinse in cool water. The cool water closes the cuticle and stimulates the scalps circulation. Make sure to rinse throughly as any shampoo residue will dull and hurt your hair.

After rinsing blot the hair with a towel. Many people think they should rub the hair to help with drying, but rubbing the hair can wear away or damage the hairs cuticle or weaken the hair's shaft. Rubbing your hair can also cause hairs to be pulled out of your head.

and... voila!
