if you all really want to know where GM island is i will tell you. dont ask me how i know this, all i can say is that i know some people who made it out of there alive... it's east of durotar. take the secret zep and you'll see.

i have been to gm island on a private server and it is rather boring
it is mainly flat land and all i could find is a pirate ship and a fort like the one south of ratchet maybe....

Actually, that is the old GM island you are referring to south of Tenaris.

The current GM is not on the map. When you are there, your player curser is not anywhere.
However, it has the same world code as Eastern Kingdoms if you were to port there (Each new area has a code, divided into outland/Eastern kingdoms/Kalamidor) So it technically comes in under Eastern kingdoms.

Its a small island with a house there. Nothing special

GM island is northwest of the nelf starting place.

you cannot get there without exploiting since it's OUTSIDE the map, that means you can only teleport or exploit there. you cannot however swim there.

you will not get banned for getting there, since the GM's really don't give a shit about some guy wanting to have a look. there are portals there but only visible for GMs so they can get to major cities fast.


you cannot see the GM's since they ALWAYS have invisibility on.

there's rumours from the chonicles of the flaming rubies that there are critters with epics there. that's not true.


anyways, it's a really boring place, yeah, not worth visiting tbh.

the other day one of my freinds upgraded his simulated server and started playing around as GM. As stated in previous posts here, GM island has a little house with a NPC in it and a couple portals for fast transport, the NPC sells epic gear for like 1 copper a piece. go go tauren GM in full onslaught.

There ARE vendors who sell the Tier 1-6 set gear, though. 'Course, I think that, like GMs, they are invisible to non-GMs and their stuff costs a lotta gold.
